The morning edit

A little clarity for today.

  • 01

The pricing note is waiting on you

Two people replied yesterday. Neither needs a decision, both need a date.

  • 02

Thursday’s review has no agenda yet

You have notes from the last three. A draft is ready if you want it.

  • 03

    Protect the morning

The only deep block this week sits between 9 and 11 tomorrow.

Nothing else needs you today
Why it exists 01 / 05

A full day should not mean a full head.

Most tools add another place to look. Velora subtracts, and hands back the one thing you were trying to find.

  1. 01

    Keep the spark

The half-formed idea from the shower, the thing someone said in passing. Velora holds them so you can put them down.

  2. 02

    Find the next step

Not a list of everything. One move, chosen because of what is actually in front of you this afternoon.

  3. 03

    Get to the point

Forty minutes of conversation comes back as the three decisions, the two open questions and who owes what.

  4. 04

    Get your time back

The small administrative tax on a working day, paid once, quietly, before you sit down.

How it works 02 / 05

A simpler way through your day.

  1. Capture

    01 Bring it in

Notes, threads, voice memos, the document you never finished. Drop it anywhere and stop filing.

  2. Relate

    02 Connect the pieces

Velora reads across everything you have given it and finds the thread you had not put together yet.

  3. Frame

    03 Choose your focus

You say what today is about. Everything else steps back until you ask for it.

  4. Act

    04 Make your move

A drafted reply, a shaped agenda, a first paragraph. Something to push against, not a blank page.

0%

of a working day is spent finding what you already knew. Velora is built to give that part back.

Who it is for 03 / 05

Different kinds of work. The same need for space.

Team leads
“Six one-to-ones a week used to mean six sets of notes I never reread.”
Daniel Oyelaran Engineering lead, 24-person team
Creative independents
“The blank page was never the problem. Remembering where I left off was.”

01

Choose what stays

Every source you connect can be switched off without losing the rest.

02

A space of your own

Your workspace is not training data. Nothing you write leaves it.

03

Define your space

Set what Velora may read, down to a single folder or thread.

04

Start fresh anytime

Clear the context and begin again. No residue, no archive you did not ask for.

Boundaries

Helpful context. Thoughtful limits.

An assistant that reads your work should be easy to switch off. Every source is a decision you can reverse, and clearing the slate takes one action.

Questions

A few things you might be wondering.

01 Where does Velora fit into my day?

Twice, usually. Once before you start, when it hands you a short read of what today actually asks of you. Once at the end, when it closes the loops you left open. In between it stays quiet unless you call on it.

02 What can I bring into my workspace?

Written notes, documents, voice memos, meeting transcripts and the threads you choose to connect. You decide what comes in, one source at a time, and you can disconnect any of it later without losing everything else.

03 Can I use this away from my desk?

Yes. Capture works on a phone the same way it works on a laptop: you say or type the thing, and it lands in the same place. The morning edit is built to be read standing up, waiting for a coffee.

04 What does a morning overview include?

Three to five lines. What moved since yesterday, what is waiting on you, and the one thing worth protecting time for. If there is nothing worth saying, it says that instead of padding.

05 How do the context controls work?

Every source is a switch. Turn one off and Velora stops reading it immediately, including anything it had already drawn from it. Clearing context removes the working memory without touching the underlying notes.

06 Is Velora available today?

Velora is a concept product presented as a design study. The workflow, the pricing and the writing here describe how it would work rather than a service you can sign up for right now.
